Hiawatha School Carnival

New Covenant provided a year-end Carnival for Hiawatha School last Friday. Over 600 people people enjoyed the awesome music of AirWaves, hot dogs and chips, the Amazing Illusion Show by Ricky Hoobler, great games, and Kona Ice. We shared the wordless gospel with over 100 children! Enjoy the photos from the evening!

State Tennis Tournament

I enjoyed catching some State Doubles Tennis action today. Paulson and McCann from Linn-Mar advanced with two relatively easy matches. Enjoy the photos!

Signs of Spring

I love spring! What a beautiful time of year. Enjoy some of the sights that I captured the last couple weeks. Take time to observe and see the new life that is springing up around us.

A Family of Growing Disciples

I'm so glad to be part of an inter-generational church family. During the past two weeks I was able to attend the last Family Experience of the year and saw how God has been at work in the lives of 3rd thru 5th graders through our Ministry Training Academies.

Middle School Sunday was incredible. I had the joy of helping train and work with 14 middle schoolers who served as Greeters that morning! I wish I could have them every Sunday!

And last Wednesday I had the awesome privilege of attending the High School Grad Roast. What an awesome senior class. These students have made an impact in their families, church, schools and community. They will be missed. But we send them off with prayers and hugs, knowing they will be a blessing wherever they go.

Together, we make disciples in our church family, neighborhoods and world. That what a family of growing disciples does!

Trip to Forest City

We visited Josh, Diana and Caleb in Forest City on Friday and Saturday. We transplanted some hostas and did some other house projects.

And of course we played with Caleb! Good food, good times, good weather, good company! I love hanging out with my family.
